This past Saturday was a huge one for me as I completed the longest run of my life! 12 Miles!! Did I ever think I could do this? Yes, but I never thought that I would do it if that make any sense. It was a very exciting thing for me because here I am looking forward to running all these miles. This has really been an eye opener for me because it has shown me that I could accomplish a feat like this. I am not going to stop at 13.1.....I am going for 26.2! With my teams support, which are some of the greatest people that I have meet I know I can do anything. With all the inspiration that is around me from Tyler, Virginia, My Grandmother, Tia Chuy, Angelica, Manny and everyone that is a part of my life who has been touched by cancer I am doing this for you! These people have fought and beat cancer and knowing that they never gave up the fight inspires to not give up on my journey to the finish line!

Honor Teamate Time!
I want to take this time and introduce everyone toTyler who has been fighting Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and Leukemia for over two years. Tyler is an 8 years old who is the strongest fighter that I come to know. I first meet Tyler last summer and realized that this kids was a fighter. Back when I meet Tyler he had to get around by wheelchair and to see him now able to walk around and enjoy everything around him was a great sight. Tyler is the one person to really inspire me to participate in my event. I figured if he can fight cancer, I could take on the challenges from doing my event.
Thinking of what cancer patients go through and what they would do to be in my position really is an eye opener. From watching my grandmother who beat cancer over 18 years ago and is still cancer free to this day and seeing first hand how cancer can take one of the most loving and caring people I know in my wife's aunt, Tia Chuy. Seeing the way cancer fighters have fought to beat cancer has inspired me to do something for them and the way that I would be able to this would be by giving my blood, sweet and tears to help find a cure. This is why I have joined the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training to help cancer fighters get through everyday to show that people are willing and able to go to fight for them and that they are not in it alone. I can never imagine what cancer fighters go through but I could imagine one day that they would become cancer free because of something I was a part of!!
I ask you all that if you or anyone you know has fought cancer and know how hard it can to please help me in raising money for research grants and every day activities such as being able to pay for parking day after day at the hospital....Please go to my link and make a donation,

New Year! New Start!
Its been a couple of weeks since I last been here to update everyone, but here I am. The Holidays were great and was able to spend alot of quality time friends and family as well as spending my first holidays with my wife, Bertha!
As for my training on how I will get to the finish line it has been great. I have accomplished things that I would have never though I would have. The first was running 10 miles!!....when would I have thought that I would be able to do this let alone finish!! Thanks to my TNT team, Coaches and Teammates!!!. It was something that really made believe that I can do this and now I am looking forward to participating in more event. Just knowing that what I am doing is not only helping me but other people as well. With in the next couple of weeks I will be doing my first of hopefully many events .
This next weekend I will be doing 12 miles....I am so looking forward to this and I can not wait to get out there and lay some rubber down!!! This will be 1 mile less than my first event....Surf City 1/2 Marathon!!!
Go Team!!!!
